We focus a great deal on volunteering to do good deeds for others. Our volunteer opportunities are very diverse, offering you the rewarding experience of helping in our community while simultaneously meeting & connecting with other members of Humanists Doing Good.
Several times each month we arrange various opportunities for our members to gather in an educational or purely social setting. These are also quite diverse, ranging from book clubs to museum trips; visits to wineries and trivia nights.
We also, at least once per month, schedule group hikes to get out and enjoy our beautiful local area. We do our best to accommodate varying levels of fitness. Join us for hikes and enjoy seeing wildflowers, canyons, alpine vistas, towering monoliths, and even wild horses. We’ve adopted the Mica Mine Trail, and routinely carry out trail maintenance there.
