Aug. 17th, 2014 - Melon Harvesting For People In Need

Join us as we harvest donated melons from the fields for people in need. We will once again be collaborating with the Grow Another Row organization. Our volunteers have loved working on similar harvests in the past. Volunteers can bring some melons home, but you need to bring your own bags/boxes for your personal harvest.

Please bring gloves because melon plants can be irritating. We also recommend bringing water. There will not be a restroom available at the event.

Directions will be emailed to those who RSVP to the event as the date draws near.

When: Sunday, Aug. 17th at 8:00 am

Click here to RSVP on our meetup site.

NOTE: This event was postponed one week from it's previous date due to cooler weather and rain causing the melons to ripen less quickly than expected.
